Michael...

The game is amazing! Im addicted! Every aspect is very improved, i love it!:D I congratulate you and your team for a wonderful job well done! Now its time for some critizism for say. Is it me or did the power supply in the parks go down in half?? I can barely build two coasters because of the power meter depleting incredibly fast and so i never really get to complete big coasters, in the first i could build two monster coasters in a park full of rides but now i cant do that anymore. Was there a reason it was shortened? Also ive encountered a strange bug of some sort in Oceanville in Otherworlds, when i entered Oceanville for the first time everything went well but when i left and came back the screen all of a sudden went all pixely and really low resolution but when i leave that section again to go to Astroville or Usagiville the screen goes back to normal and if i go back to Oceanville it does the same thing again. Do you think you know what is wrong?

Thanks, the power setting is the same, however the coasters have more components now, so building a coaster uses more power. A trick is to build to coasters with the same track type, and the second coaster will use less power.

The other issue I'm not sure about, does it still occur after restarting your machine?

Michael

Ok i understand now, and it gets even worse. It does it even if i restart my machine and if it doesnt do it at first it'll eventually do it again. Thats not the worst part, i decided to put the game from 800 reso to 1024 reso and when i play the game all goes fine till the screen gets all screwed up and the graphics are literally chopped up to the point where if i stare at it any longer i'll pass out and if i put it on 800 reso the color eventually screws up and some of the peeps body parts dissapear??? Would you like some screens of what i mean for my issues?

Michael Brookes

Game Director
Screens would be useful, you should also post your dxdiag report (dxdiag reports tend to be quite long so you will need to split it over a few posts). It sounds like there's a problem with your video card. Are you using the default detail setting and screen resolution? Or have you changed these settings?

Michael

Ok heres my Dxdiag:

It looks to me like a graphics card issue, it's possible there's a physical fault with the card. More likely it's a driver issue, I notive that both your graphics and sound card drivers are many years old. You should update these to the most recent version.

Your machine is quite old and is actually under spec for Thrillville, paticuarly your CPU.

Michael

Well my video card has been making strange whirring noises lately that go from really loud to soft to really loud then soft...Does it sound like i have a actual issue with the card? :(
