Micro stutter since 2.3.

I've never had micro stutter until now, and it started occurring with 2.3.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Does anyone know how to fix it?

Any help will be appreciated.

Yes, I am seeing this. I see it in SC and also whilst in the SRV. Just a momentary...pause...and then the screen updates...a stutter.

I've updated drivers and just now reset the network...I'll see what happens today.

Kind regards

I get near unplayable framerates near stations and planetary bases since 2.3. Low 10s.

Which makes landing quite a challenge sometimes.

Something is not quite right. Frame rates fall near stations while my card isn't at max capacity.

Same, getting stutters near stations, colonies and when approching planets.
Never been an issue before 2.3

Had micro stutter since Windows 10 Creators Update.

After disabling "Game Mode" every thing is smooth now.

So if you have Windows 10 Creators Update, try to disable "Game Mode" ([Windows key]+G then parameters)

It may help....

Apparently turning off Netlogging helps for some players.

I only get stutters at stations when i first drop out of sc. Everything else is smooth.

When the first 2.3 update dropped the game was the smoothest it's ever been for me. Since the patches it's now the most stuttery it's ever been. Maybe the next patch will fix it. Or maybe it'll just break it even more. Who knows anymore?

2.3 has had micro stutters for me since beta.

The severity and nature has changed a bit with each update.

The recent win 10 update has also added a whole new layer of sluggishness to everything I run on my PC. [blah]

Yup, I'm getting it too. There was something like it in the early Engineers timeframe, but then it always resulted in a crash back then. I hope FD will sort it out.

(on Windows 7 here.)

I'm having micro stuttering as well, very lightly, but it's there and I didn't have it before the patch came out

What helped me:
- disable NetworkLog in game Options when not needed.
- Disable Framelimiter and use Vsync On instead.
- Turn of that Windows 10 Game Mode.

Buttersmooth now again and Transitions are faster than ever.

For thoose that having problems near Planets - turn down the Terrain Calculationrate Slider.
For Cards with 2 GB VRam or less also dont use ultra - use High Settings instead that way there is less Texture swapping in and out of Mainmemory which leads to less latencies for the Graphicsprocessor resulting in better utilization.

Cheers!
