This doesn't sound hopeful.

I understand the point about expansion packs. The less of them the better (Unless they're free, of course!).

But I was hoping that as many management tools as possible were being pumped into the game because that is what's really going to take this game from 'Ooo look pretty graphics to omg I'm running the themepark of my dreams'

Expansion packs will never be free as it takes time and money to develop them, and that expense has to be made up (plus a profit because that's why they are in business, to make money).

Great input all, what seems to be the general consensus is add the options to micromanage but also make it an option to switch off or streamline very quickly. Hopefully the guys and girls of Frontier have caught wing of this and can see what they can do. Thanks again all.
