Hi,
Posting here on the off chance that someone might have an idea what's going on...
I use the Outlook.live.com Web Client for email, have for years without issue. Went to send an email last night and it said it couldn't, and to try later. However, the email did not go to my drafts. Ended up losing that rather long email.
Logged in today, went to reply to another email, same issue, it won't sent. Wondered if my Inbox was a bit full, so started deleting stuff, only for it to pop back into the Inbox after a second or two. I tried to create a "TEMP" folder to put stuff in, thinking I'd be able to move stuff and bulk delete it. Outlook would not create the folder. I mark some items that I've read as read, Outlook didn't do it automatically, and, moments later they revert back to unread. It's very strange. Any action I do either outright fails, like sending an email, or reverts back moments later. I even emptied my junk folder (only one item in there) and it reverted seconds later. I can read emails just fine and hit reply, however the conversation history isn't included - this happens sometimes for really long email chains, I can type my response but when I click send it just errors, saying it cannot do that now but doesn't save a draft, like it usually would if there was an internet issue.
I've tried emails to various people, they all fail, I've tried replies and fresh emails, same deal. It's really odd and I'm at a loss.
I do wonder if it's weird Windows issue, as Windows downloaded and applied some updates last night and asked to restart. I went to reply to an email before logging off for the eve, so the restart hadn't happened. Logging in this morning, the PC obviously had been restarted, and the issue persists.
It's rare I encounter a technical issue I cannot solve, or at least identify as an external issue (not my system / config) but I'm stuck here. I rely on eMail quite a lot still, so this is irksome. If anyone does have any ideas, please chime in. Cheers.
