Zoo Tycoon Microsoft told me to come to you with this

Hi all and FD,

Yes, i've seen all the posts about "we can't discuss any things Microsoft hasn't discussed", but i've talked to Microsoft's employees, and they all tell me its the decision of the developer (you) and not Microsofts choice. They couldn't do anything for me and said one FD could decide such things.

Its the typical being send from the pillar to post. You guys are the developers and the publisher of the game said its your decision, so tell me FD, what are you guys going to do about the zoo limit that not only limits your zoo, but also your joy and fun?

And why aren't you guys releasing more animals/DLC/expansions? When i saw all the great pictures and read the stories i was so exited. So when the Xbox One came out in the Netherlands i immediately bought one and bought Zoo Tycoon first. But i was highly dissappointed by the small number of different animals species and because of the zoo limit. I think the zoo limit doesn't need any more explanations.

I feel like i've wasted my money. I've been a huge fan of Zoo Tycoon since the beginning, and i'll gladly pay for any dlc/expansions, but please, make them.

Sorry, but that's nonsense. Unless you have official quote/letter, I won't buy this :) It's Microsoft IP and Microsoft platform - of course Microsoft will make all major decisions regarding balancing, performance and gameplay.

As for expansions - as far as I remember, one is announced (?). Not sure, but some buzz was going on around 4 months ago.

Well they said that to me when i contacted them on Facebook. I don't really care if you buy it, an Microsoft employee said that and Frontier is telling me otherwise. Its the tipical pointing the finger to the other person.

We did talk in Dutch though so i'm not sure you will understand. You can try putting it in Google Translate.

I said:

And the answer was:

^MK

Please allow me to translate it nicely for all the people here who cannot speak Dutch. According to the message above me Microsoft said:'' Hello Kenneth, I understand your disappointment in Zoo Tycoon (Xbox). However this is a problem for the Developer instead of the publisher. We cannot force Frontier Developments to make more content such as DLC. We cannot force them to change choices they made designing this game such as the Zoo Limit. However, we can contact the Xbox-Team and ask if they can send feedback to Frontier Developments. ^MK''

Also does anybody has news about a upcoming DLC for Zoo Tycoon? Since I heard nothing official four months ago. So perhaps you have a source for this information?

They did recently do a update and added the arabian oryix and sloth bear. But the only expansion I heard of was just a fake someone posted. I cant really figure out why there isn't more dlc and expansions I mean it would benefit both frontier and Microsoft so I just don't get it. With the biomes already in place they could have cheetahs, bison, elk, moose, zebra, gorillas, and more. Even mini exhibits like the Savannah rock one would be nice for vultures and the pool would be good for waterfowl. Plus I'd be willing to pay for it so I have no idea why this game isnt getting its full potential?

I noticed that both the dlc animals are gone from the Marketplace. I was telling my friend about downloading them and then there were not there. I've also checked on xbox.com but they're also not there. Is anybody else experiencing this? Is this related to maybe any upcoming dlc in the near future where they will be included or something like that?

I don't know about an upcoming DLC however the Sun bear and Mountain Bongo are indeed missing from the Xbox Live marketplace. On Xbox.com I could still find the page however I got a 404 error. 404 page not found.

The other day I saw a original game video of this game and it looked much more fun to play. In the video it had a boy playing multipayer with a girl and they built a tiger enrichment together. The animals didn't look quite as good but the exhibits looked much better and it would seem you could place things anywhere in the exhibits. So my question and I really hope to receive an answer is so why did you guys dull the game up in alot of ways? The original with the nicer animals would have been great. Also they had seals??? Now don't get me wrong this game still has potential but wheree are the traditional expansion packs these games have had? Please give us some more attention to this game I and many others would love to see new exhibits plus animals and objects.
