I think this is one of the most underrepresented regions of the world,despite having a huge diversity of animals. it also have a variety of biomes and it's not all desert. a desert themed dlc could be-
-dromedary camel
-caracal
-onager
-nubian ibex
-fat sand rat (exhibit)
A more general middle eastern dlc could be-
-syrian brown bear
-persian fallow deer
-arabian oryx
-arabian/persian leopard
-common chameleon (exhibit)
Of course there is a lot more, but I think this two options represent a nice example I f this region
