Note: you MUST download the Midnight Manor billboard pack and place the images and webm videos in your C:\Documents\Frontier Developments\Planet Coaster\UserMedia folder or most of the walls in the ride will be blank and you'll miss the spookiest effects. Get that pack here:

http://www.mediafire.com/file/g1gthvh3611e6l8/Midnight_Manor_billboards.zip

Also, you can download a pack including some of the other sounds I used in the ride here:

http://www.mediafire.com/file/gpwdgmct13pxym5/Midnight_Manor_sounds.zip

The ride runs best with only one car if you want to see all the effects synched properly. Otherwise, the sounds bleed through the walls. ha ha.

Note: there are dozens of triggered billboards in this ride. If this load will affect your computer's performance, be warned!

Also, you MUST have both the Back to the Future and Munsters DLC packs to open the park!

(nevermind. Apparently you do not need to own those sets to open the park. But the save function for the park will be disabled)

This is one of the best haunted rides in PC so far. You can really do a lot with what we have now. The billboards let you add scenes and wallpapers which really add to the atmosphere. I like how you made the lit letters for the Midnight Manor and EXIT. You used those lit squares where you can type a single letter but turned them on their sides. Also the fog/smoke adds to the scene. Is there a way to make strobes that flash really fast? To make an entire room flicker? It's too bad we can't save or move the ride due to the blueprint limit. I understand that you released the manor park file as a test, for us to try it out. But since you had some pier built, I added on to the pier and extended it to add more rides. I built a narrow pier out into the water directly in line with the manor, put rides on it, and added pier over along the beach, and added a wood coaster from the workshop, a Cyclone coaster. And built a steam train ride around the manor and coaster with a few path crossings. I also want to add a second ride pier at the other end of the park. Behind the manor will be a boardwalk that will go across the entire park. Someone just made a train that looks like one of those boardwalk trams that transport people up and down the boardwalk, that would be great to add just for looks. I wanted to show what I did so far with the manor park file. I expanded it and added two piers with rides. The story is that they will be separately owned piers. The other pier will have dark rides, too, one of them will be a creepy ride possibly called Vampire Castle or Castle Vampire that I will build myself. The other dark ride is a workshop one called Wacky Shack which resembles a Bill Tracy ride. The huge building on the pier with the manor is a wild mouse coaster indoor ride called Cheese Factory from the workshop.

Wow, the Spooky Pack has add so much more atmosphere to that ride. It was great before, but now it's really creepy.

Wow this one is soooooo much better[wink].Great job Fishermann, but i almost start to expect amazing stuff when your name falls. You already did amazing spooky rides in rct3[yesnod].And you are really good at that kind of spooky theme[haha][haha](I remember Mystery Mine[rolleyes])

I like the clocks in the ride, after all it’s called Midnight Manor. The upside down rooms are cool. And the rotating tunnel effect. You made nice bang doors with the trap doors but we got doors in the spooky pack. About the clocks, any reason you used the backside of the clock rather than the front with the hands? You made hands with the icing pieces. Now the spooky pack has a creepy grandfather clock, I wanted to add it to the ride somewhere so I found an empty spot in the corner before the blood room right after the bang doors. You already put three clocks in the ride though with the regular scenery pieces. I also changed the background in my park with the manor to the grassland because it just didn’t look right in the middle of the woods. And now that we can “own” the land on the cave entrance side that now gives lots of room to build part of a town with hotels, etc. since I flattened the hill except the cave around the spawn point. I’m going to make a beach resort town with a few hotels, etc. and two amusement piers and a half mile or so boardwalk with shops and arcades. Sort of like how Seaside Heights, NJ was when they had two piers, prior to Sandy and the fire that destroyed the south pier. The pier to the north half of it was destroyed by Sandy but the other half survived and they built more pier to the north on the beach.

Sounds great, Robert! I used the back of the clocks so I could make my own hands at midnight on the attic clock and then at 1 am on the clock in the last hallway...to imply that you are trapped in the house during the "witching hour."

I like the updates with the spooky pack, it was great before but the spooky pack makes it better. I liked the old hanging skeletons though in the spiral descent after the blood room. I added one of those phantom like characters to the final hallway that swings down and goes back up with a spooky sound effect. The end was just missing a final scare so I added that. The phantom hides at the ceiling with the mist hiding it then when you turn the corner it swings down for that final scare and then retracts to the ceiling as your car passes. After that is the clock before the exit. I also added a small spooky organ from the workshop that someone made with Munster tailpipes and spooky pack objects in the empty area where the windows are after the upside down room. I also straightened out some sections of track like got rid of the hilly slanted track in the slanted and upside down room and made it more level. I made a new park, with the manor park, I got rid of the pier section around the manor and made it on grass. I made a lake with the water on the other end and changed the background to grassland. I flattened the land around the lake and got rid of the cave entrance and hill and moved the spawn entrance to the new border edge. I used a Canobie Lake entrance from the workshop as my park entrance. The park will be a traditional park like Canobie Lake, Knoebels, etc. and there might be two scary dark rides, your manor and possibly one I started called Witch’s Castle. Other rides will be steam train, bumper cars, antique cars, carousel, Ferris wheel, wood coaster, log flume, and more.
