Here at PC I think it is fair to say most of us want to just design the parks.

Or do you mean a section like rides where you have a hook a duck stall or arcade games?

I have wanted arcade and midway games ever since beginning of RCT. So I think some of us do want. maybe part of a carnival themed expansion pack.

In Europe there's many small and medium sized parks with lots of lotto wheels and midway games. It adds another layer to the park, for people not riding the rides. Sometimes we in our family go to Liseberg to do "5-kamp" (best of 5 games) and play the skill games. It is fun!!

I want midway games. I've always wanted to see these since the first RCT came out. The trick is to not over-complicate the process of managing them. These 3 options plus a minimum and maximum player count would be perfectly reasonable.

I don't recall seeing a lot of midway games at the big theme parks. At regional amusement parks they are a staple, however. Midway games can have some prominent positioning and get staffed by rather aggressive operators. That atmospheric element has been completely missing from Frontier's park games. I really hope they add midway games soon or with an expansion.

BigDragon - Depends on the park. Not really in theme parks, but beachside/coastal parks in the US tend to have games and arcades. The Six Flags chain of parks in the US also have a Midway.

I have been creating my own blueprints hook a duck, play pit, shooter and so on although none of these you can interact with - I suppose I am so used to the restrictive elements of PC and did not play RCT 3 (did play 1 and 2 and unfortunately in RTCW) so did not know this term!

Might be a regional term. For the CA state fait, many county fairs, and beach boardwalks ( I.e. Santa Cruz and San Diego), that's where I have heard the term. Six Flags Magic Mountain and Discovery Kingdom have Midways but not sure if they are referred to as such.

From the UK never heard the term, I suppose I need to stop hibernating

Yeah, I would be nice to see arcades, and stall type games interactive however I feel this would be an expansion pack.
