General / Off-Topic Might there be a psychological reason as to why I feel the need to hate everything?

Last week it's all I seem to be able to do.

Hate this, hate that, hate anything that moves.

It's curious, really. Hating is self-destructive. Yet, I feel the need to be opposed to everything.

I really have to question why I do this to myself.

Sorry, vent needed. Facebook is not the place for this as it's too personal.

Good on you unikorn
acknowledging a problem helps in the process of solving the problem!!

Be Blessed!!

Figure out the WHY and you are halfway to solving the problem.
Why do you hate? Is it something specific? Or in general?

Are you being antisocial from fear? Is compassion something alien to you?
Go volunteer at a hospice or homeless shelter. Do something charitable for strangers.
pay it forward for someone at a coffee shop. Do good things for others, whether anonymously or not.

Surround yourself with positivity. Go help at an animal shelter. Realize there are people and animals in wayyy worse circumstances than yourself.

Hearing voices? Thinking inappropriate thoughts? Do you scare yourself? These are the warning signs of chemical imbalances of the brain.
There is zero shame in getting professional help for any mental illness.
Repair yourself, not self medicate. Get help if it is affecting your health, attitude or relationships with others.

There are no crazy people, only sick ones. Same goes for the 'evil'. Those are just very sick people.

Do not let things beyond your control get you mad and frustrated. Realize that you are not responsible for stuff you have nothing to do with.
Anger and hate boil down to frustration, envy and fear basically. Identify the causes and fix or avoid them.

People who use the excuse "I got a bad temper" are basically admitting they have the emotional level of a toddler taking a tantrum.
Violence is never the answer, that's just a baby mind acting out.

Now get off my dad-blasted couch and get a referral from your GP for a shrink.

Let Us Pray:

Our Pasta, who “Arghh” in heaven, Swallowed be thy shame.
Thy Midgit come. Thy Sauce be yum, On top some grated Parmesan.
Give us this day our garlic bread. And give us our cutlasses, As we swashbuckle, splice the main-brace and cuss.
And lead us into temptation, But deliver us some Pizza.

For thine are Meatballs, and the beer, and the strippers, for ever and ever.

RAmen.

I hate everything on a regular basis. Good for a punch-up but not much else. It really drains you and alienates people.
I can't bring myself to drink the Kool-Aid and be fake like everyone else seems to me (little lies to make themselves look good, normalization of backstabbing and opportunism, popularity at any cost, constantly seeking attention and validation, showing off, university student sanctimony etc.)
If you can be fake I'd suggest it though. Down in the pit we don't like to talk to each other either. It sucks and I wish I was a better actor. Can't beat'em, join'em. Not sure how you'll hang on to your self-respect, though. That's always the hard part.
If you hate the world get a union job. Make sure you don't work too hard. Always feel entitled to more money. Zealously assert yourself all the time over anything.

I'm going to sound a bit hippie now, so forgive me, it's my wife speaking through me :D

Negative feelings is basically a vibration field created by the body, it impacts your health, your surroundings and your life in general.
It works as a magnet, if you are very negative, you will attract negativity, it's a snowball effect. Try to always think positive, send good thoughts out and focus on what makes you happy.
