I was playing commodore 64 version of Elite. At that time the most powerful laser was, "military laser". That was a devastating weapon and sold with a huge price. Once you get it, you became a killer machine. Developers may consider to revive this legendary weapon. Federation or/and Empire rankings, or any other achievements would get this. Just an opinion from a boomer cmd.
