Military member laptop help

Hello Anyone who reads this looking for a little help I'm trying to design my first computer I need to do a laptop because I'm about to go on a deployment and want a way to play evolution while I'm off duty. Really lacking in the tech savvy department so any help would be appreciated. My spending limit is preferably 2 Grand. Preferences are durable, decent sized screen, high graphics, good cooling system (because of the Heat) and finally able to upgrade it later. Thank you

How’s it going man? Not going to lie, don’t know a whole lot about laptops but have built a couple of desktops. One thing I would definitely make sure your laptop has is a SSD Card with Windows 10 installed on it, along with some of your favorite games. I won’t ever have PC without a SSD card now, makes your computer turbo fast.

I would also look into trying to find a laptop with a built in CAC card reader. It will make it easier accessing your military email and what not. I hate having to carry around a external reader for mine. Good luck on your deployment man.

2 grand? I am going to take it that you are an American. I suggest looking on Newegg or Amazon. BestBuy has always been over priced. Of course if you want to support Brick and Mortar than you can. I have been in BestBuy before and their selection of laptops is really small and I don't remember seeing any high end gaming laptops or desktops when I was in there.

Laptops generally don't do well with gaming. Gaming causes a lot of heat build up and heat is bad for laptops. Normally I would suggest building a desktop yourself or at least buying a prebuilt desktop with gaming in mind. But building your own is always the best option if you can do it. But given the situation you are in with deployment I would suggest making sure you get a good laptop. Something that can handle the heat that this game will cause.

They are bit expensive but you said your budget was 2,000 so I guess you can go a little bit over. I suggest going here if you can afford it.

Also when you get back home I suggest looking into getting a good desktop, either build one, have someone help you or buy a prebuilt gaming desktop.

Here are some gaming laptops I have found and some come in under your budget or a little higher.

I put what I would consider to be the best and most powerful laptop choices in the top spots. There are two, an AurosX5 and a ASUS ROG Zephyrus GX501VS-XS71. Both of these will be able to easily play JWE easily and on maximum settings. The others below those two at the top will be able to play it as well just you might not get to play at the highest of settings. I believe one has a GTX 1050. The rest should have GTX 1060's. The Aorus has a GTX 1070 as does the ASUS ROG. If I had to choose myself I would go for the Aorus or the ROG. Both have 16GB of DDR4 RAM an i7 and a GTX 1070 and they both come with an SSD. The Aorus is just $90 over your budget.

I hope this helps.

If you could get an alienware used they are pretty awesome rigs. I have an older one a it is awesome. Just outdated for today's games.
