Military progression - Empire

I'm in Vequess right next door to the Empire capital and am trying to complete the military progression missions. One is asking for Personal weapons and the other Combat Stabilisers. I have searched everywhere for these and cannot find them anywhere. Any ideas?

You should try a nearby dictatorship. Can't remember it's name right now (not at home). Got my first progression mission there, and they even had personal weapons for sale. Very handy😜.

I am fairly certain either McDermott Enterprise in CD-51 102 or Henry Vision in Herthans should have both of those and aren't very far from Achenar.

Schuster hub in Wuru has battle weapons and personal weapons. 35 ly from Vequess. Combat stabilisers can indeed be found in McDermott Enterprise, as Kamito mentioned.

Use the Galaxy map. I cant remember which tab offhand (dont have access now), you can then select/deselect which trade items you want to see the trade routes for. Head on over to where the item is exported and you're well sorted :)

Keep in mind Personal weapons and Combat Stabs are considered illegal in most Systems in the Empire - dont get caught!

Sokobii is an independant System that sells Personal Weapons - no law enforcement there eihter as far as I remember.

my advice for those kind of missions is: Do not accept those missions from Big Stations - make your way to an Empire System near Sokobii ( or another System that has what you need )
that has an outpost ( No Cops ) and accept the mission from there.

One jump out -> legally buy personal Weapons -> one jump back -> drop off at oupost with no Cops around - just dont let yourself get interdicted

Bumping this (though from the Federation side). Has anyone run into a situation where there just aren't any missions to be had? The only mission that I see but can't accept is for a permit (to Ross 128) which I already have other than that no more Military missions which is a bummer as I was really enjoying those. Ideas?
