Right, some time ago some devs said they'd fiddle around with military rank progression. Now, I'm not a nostalgic guy, but one of the things that earlier titles definitely did better was military ranks progression (not to mention that missions actually made sense back then).
And as far as outfitting goes, I'm absolutely certain a dev mentioned they will work on showing some useful information instead of stuff like "max supported tonnage 52770" or 7 different modules all showing A integrity and other similar stuff. I mean, what's the point of having rank 5 instead of rank 2 module if they both have class A performance?
Both the military revamping and outfitting info shouldn't take too much time nor resources to bring to a more usable (less insane?) state. I'm aware it's nothing gamebreaking and definitely shouldn't be a top priority, but it's been quite awhile since I heard anything on the topic from official sources, so I guess I'm asking what happened with these plans?
