god i love those msz,s talk about star wars , just wave after wave of pythons anacondas and vultures at high rank ,
decided to up my rank from expert so i popped into one of these msz,s to try out , soon as i jumped in it was like a lazer show
i,v been in conflict zones but they wer not a patch on these things , talk about dog fighting , it just never stops ,
had my vulture with C3 gimbled beem and a multi cannon , five hour's of dog fighting , jumping out to loud cannon and chaff
then straight back in , loved it and levelled up to master but i could not bring mysellf to leave plus i got a few hundred points
to hand in to patreus , cost me to do it but i can make that back in one trip with my annie . i was at thule by the way .

yeah the combat zones have always been a strength. Still though I wish the PP military strike zones and other PP combat zones had better payouts.

like i say don't realy care about the payout , just the fun was brilliant , realy trading is the only way of making any decent creds anyway

you must join one of the eight powers that enforce expansion through the use of there military ,
such as ( expansion , destroy system resistance forces at military strike zones and deliver combat bonds
back to a controled system ) but you can't deliver them to just any one , mainly the larger base ports .

It depends on your power where they are. Sorry, no pledge=no Military Strikes.

Last night the smallest ship I came across was a Clipper, mainly Anacondas and Pythons. As the Op has stated, great fun, usually more than one commander as well, on the same side.

MSZ are rather intense :) It is a real pleasure to fight among these big ships, it feels like a full-scale war.
It is so great that I don't even care the absence of payout!

MSZs are part of why I unpledged to Denton.

I went to a couple and found plenty of big fish, but they were all poking themselves in their eyes. Wave after wave of mostly harmless Pythons gets pretty boring....though this is when PP was just released, so it may have changed.

Had no idea about this, I won't be unpledging any time soon if that's the case, I thought all you could so to help expansion was deliver supplies, guess I need to read even more, thanks, +rep

AHH dang! One reason to pledge, but MY list of downsides outweigh that one reason.

Military Strike Zone.....this is the first I'm hearing about it. What's it's like and what it's the reward for doing them? They sound an awful lot like combat zones.

military strike zones are much more intens than combat zones with more big ships of higher rank
the payout is combat bonds which you hand in to whichever power your aligned with
but if you enjoy dog fighting it,s the place to be , also its great for upping your combat rank .
doesn't stop you doing whatever else you like to do .

So it's a glorified combat zone. Does it give merits or just credits?
