Military Strong

Well, my "military strong" SRV Scorpion was destroyed by one NPC with shotgun in less than 2 minutes...

Did I shot back? Of course, but Scorpion's aim is worse than Stormtroopers. That SRV aim is simply horrible.
Did I tried to flee? Of course, but considering Scorpion as a "military SRV", supposed it could endure battle longer I never thought that a puny NPC with a shotgun will give me any trouble.
So I waited too long to flee before the shield has gone after, say, 30 or 40 seconds.

Why a SRV -- made to be stronger than Scarab and fitted for engagements -- is so bad at shooting and so quickly destroyed by just one NPC is something beyond my understanding.

I suppose an engineer will be used to give us SRV improvements. Considering the fast pace that Frontier have to solve bugs, perhaps at the end of 2022 we got him.

What paint job do you have on it?

While a paintjob in a realistic space combat sim would potentially impact the effectiveness of light based weaponry ...i somehow doubt it would make much difference with kinetic weapons

They never said which military. (looks at the salvation army)

So an NPC shot at you for 2 minutes and you expect to survive that encounter?

To be fair, if you're in an AFV (or even APC), and the NPC shoots you with a shotgun, you wouldn't expect anything else happen than the NPC to run out of ammo...

You titled your previous thread "Last straw" and you're still here posting new ones. I'm afraid doubts have crept in about your integrity.

and before that it was

My tip to survive is..... target the shotgun NPC, fire, and do not stop until he is toast. Take your finger off the trigger and you have to start over. 50 rounds of continuous fire is often about right. And you have 2000 available!

Brings back memories of Battlefield 3 and the combo of shotguns with explosive ammo and C4
Did you play that week when they broke the explosive ammo with one of their many "balancing" patches and made it ridiculously overpowered? That was madness on CQB maps with chokepoints, let alone Metro 64.
