Military Supercapacitors

I'm on the hunt for Military Supercapacitors. I use to get them in USS. Is there a better way? If still in USS is there a System that better than others? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks o7

I think USS in Federal systems in state of war or civil war. Have a look on mission boards in those systems too, as they are sometimes mission rewards.

In Independent systems better, to avoid pollution of superpower specific materials, and they can no longer be a mission reward. However the game system that spawns these, and Improvised components, is badly broken right now. Your best bet is to go farm imperial shielding from HGE usses in imperial core sectors and trade them 100 for 16. Yep, even that horrible trade ratio is still the best way to get mil supercaps. Last time I did that I jumped into systems with factions in war/civil war state (use eddb.io or what ever to find the factions), looked for war HGEs from the factions and still some part of them contained military grade alloys... Conclusion: the process is interesting, time consuming but could be faster and less RNG.
As @Aashenfox said, collect every HGE you see and trade them later.
