MIR members on INARA don't seem to have any activity for more than a year.

Maybe this is the answer to "Ghost wings" (abandoned PMFs) - they get fed to the Thargoids.

This is a call for help. Gaiman Dock in the 49 Arietis system has been attacked by a species that has no regard for human life or the research our faction does to protect it. We as a collective are the Militia for Independent Research (MIR) striving to keep research as an independent venture by all humankind not constrained by galactic super powers.


I humbly request to the galactic community to help us in our time of need so that we evacuate and repair our station. This attack has given us a firsthand account of the havoc the thargoids can inflict upon humanity. In these dire circumstances and mindless loss of life we vow to concentrate our research in the defense of humanity against this sinister threat.


We are not affiliated with Aegis if that has given you doubts we are an independent and equal research collective for the benefit of all independent scientists and engineers.


Thank you to the Commanders already out there helping MIR (and grinding mats). It does not matter if you are Independent, Imperial, or Federally aligned because we are all part of the human race. I hope the brevity of this attack can be countered by the humanity in us all.

Gaiman dock was my home station. So all help is appreciated. It's rcovered from UA bombing 3 times so hopefully this setback is not the end.

We weren't doing indpendent research. Just trying to protect that done by Palin. MIR and Singularity had more or less exactly the same goals but were active at different times and are both fairly dead now. So I supported both groups. Sure, as singularity, we got lucky that the Feds left Palin on our watch and not MIRs.

There doesn't seem to be a lot of tractoin for this crew.
If anyone can help them get some visibilty and traction in the publicity department, I'm surfe it would help.
