...in the Lambda Arae system right now. It’s a very high population system(14 bill.), so you should get lots of High Grade Emissions as I just did.

The method I am using is here —> https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...E’s-in-3-0-(with-video)?p=6507398#post6507398 , but basically fly slowly around the main star in a distance of 850ls. “Deep Space” is best IMO, but you can find them in “Shipping Lane” too.

I was there a few mins ago - needed a few Mil. Supercapacitators for the clean drives on my Exploration Asp. Found a HGE within 3 mins. CMDR is happy (for the moment only...)

Yes, when a system with a population as high as that is in the right state it’s certainly worth taking advantage of it .

I tested this method for an hour and came across 7 HGE’s (ignoring degraded but stoping for encoded). One time i was interdicted by the military so I didn’t manage to get the HGE. But this method seems far more reliable than any other that i’ve tried. Thanks for the info and great work!

Thought I may as well get them while I can. So I spend hours and hours doing the boring RNG USS thing. I now have 100 military alloys and 97 military supercapacitors.
