Min. waiting time: Disable "fully loaded override" rule

When I set a Min. waiting time in Planet Coaster, I expect it to be obeyed unconditionally. I find it odd that a rule is in place that the Min. waiting time is "overridden when the ride is fully loaded." I have a 286.7 S dark log ride. With a maximum number of logs of 12 (which should also be increased), the 12 logs go through the station back to back, and then there are no logs for quite some time. I would prefer for the logs to be more evenly distributed throughout the track. Also, for first person view, I don't want to be able to see the log in front of me. Please enable a way for the "Min. waiting time" to be absolutely unconditional, even with a fully loaded vehicle.

Beyond the dark ride example, disabling the fully loaded vehicle rule would also be useful for coaster creation, especially for those of us who carefully control our stop breaks. In most cases I want the coaster to be able to go through the whole track without ever stopping at a stop break (or only stopping at one just prior to the station). But since I can't enforce the Min. waiting time, it takes away my ability to fine-tune this aspect of coaster creation. The override is really a hindrance in this case, because if a car stops at a stop break, it affects excitement/fear/nausea ratings, often adversely. So again, please give the player a way to disable the "overridden when the ride is full loaded" min. waiting time rule! :)

I see what you're trying to say! So, like Expedition Everest, for Example, there would be a stop and perhaps a little special effect scene before the roller coaster continues and goes.

Actually, applying a wait time to stop breaks DOES work. I'm talking specifically about the min. waiting time that applies to the station.

Hoi kythlyn,

I had the same but i have found a way around when you use the "min departure interval" you add more time between the cars or in you're case the logs. I think this should solve your issue.

It seems like this property (min departure interval) should do the same work as the min wait time. But there is an other property array managmand than you in first time exspexted.
what i see is that the stations and blocking sections has a first priority in arcane cars on your track when add trains,
then the min departure interval proparty dos is job by add a min wait time for a car on the station
And than as last the wait time comes.......
first it looks to the load (a 1/4, Half, 3/4 or full load of the train) , and use here the MIN and MAX WAIT TIME for.

So when you have a 1/2 load and your Max time is exceeded your attraction will start his round, before it is full.....
The mini time is the wait time that leaves the enters border open if your atraction is allready full, and waiting on nothing...... ( but this is the only thing what not works..... and looks a dublicated and not working proparty, but i gess it is overruld by the (1/4, Half, 3/4 or full) load proparty.....

This is how i see the property are working...... and it seems to work fine for me ( i can do the same as in the older RCT, and now in costars a litile bit better....... through the "min departure interval", and the blocking sections. It is only a thing by flet rids.

SO build some blocking sections, before you enter the station (to add more trains). and set the "min departure interval" (as last property in the list) to a higher number to add more time between the logs.
and use the breaks to slow down on tracks (and do not use the blocking station) in your track to get one ride from the start to the end......

Wow. Somehow... after almost 100 hours since launch... I never actually saw "Min. departure interval." Not even once.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention! Thread can be closed. :)
