If Planet coaster were to do minigolf, they would have to do it right, such as ditching the simple turn system from RCT3 and/or Thrillville, and go for something of a mix of Path creation and decoration. Frontier would have to make a new build system in general for attractions that have guests control where they want to go, and for walkthrough attractions with booths, special features, and just something that is not usually seen in Theme park simulators. I say it is time for us to ditch the simple turn and flat ride system of having a fun house/walkthrough haunted house/minigolf/mirror maze/minigolf/whatevertheheckyawant, and swap it for a system that includes
- Placing an entrance booth exclusive to individual types of walkthrough rides
- having a track layout system similar to what we have for regular path/queue path, but varied to include 2m path, and other more varied path layouts.
- "Path spazz": Specific features that make a path unique, such as having a mirror walls, scare spots, spinning features, rumbling floors, or in the case of minigolf, selective fetures usually found on various mini-golf coarses (Tubes, Tunnels, Trails, Edges, and Obstacles, possibly scenery/building materials made physical).
- An optional Stage indicator for indication of moving onto the next thing
- Triggers for specific features and effects
- An Exit for the attraction
Altogether, these would make a great new system for walkthrough attractions
