Welp back here with some brainstorming
The teased sifaka inspired me to decide on the next themed area of the zoo, a madagascar house set in a renovated big cat house. It will fit pretty well as ive been wanting to use the fossa for a while now but they sadly released right after i finished building for lemures in my old zoo in a spot where i had no space left for them anymore, so it would be very neat to finally use them and 2-3 more lemures + a stand in madagascan exhibit. They will be located in the blue area and ill try to give them a more "monument protection" looking building then the concrete pit and brick stables of the macaques and wisents.
Red area will stay the asia area, possibly expanding up if i need to, featuring animals from primarly northern asia, aswell as the zoos mascot in for of the renewed and beautiful malayan tapir. With the lemures and the 2 asian primates allready present this zoo will be quite primate heavy, which i like as it reflects many real zoos of that size and will really force me to flex my creative muscles and get better at building custom climbing frames.
The green part is reserved for the entrance, the zoos small restaurant, a playground and some heritage breeds, making use of the games weird domestic choices to full effect.
On the list of things unaccounted for are a revamped primate house and some old seal/sealion/penguin/polarbear (i think you get the point) pools, now renovated for either seals or sealions, aswell as quite a few aviarys. This pretty much all falls in line of what i know from most smaller german zoos, with especally the combo of primates, birds, domestics and wisents being very common in lots of them, only racoons and some more local animals like foxes and fallow deer missing for the true small german zoo experience
