MiniElite

Watching the trading video, I couldn't help but notice the (default) icon in the top left of the MiniElite application. Was it written in Visual Basic?

EDIT: Accidentally posted in the wrong place. Could a kind mod please move it somewhere more suitable?

I bet its a case of whatever tool gets the job done, especially as we don't know how much smarts have to be represented in that app, and how much of this is just based around exchanging state with a server backend.

What-if?

Maybe it's a VBA module, in an Excel spreadsheet, using the functionality from Excel to handle all the modelling using macros?

I wonder if it's 22kb, or maybe a bit bigger...

Visual Basic? You're lucky! When I were younger we used to have to spit out our code on a damp cloth and wait for it to dry before we could debug it. :)

"Pinta's Quest is a VMU mini-game from Skies of Arcadia, a great RPG for the
Dreamcast. You can play it once you reach Sailor's Isle in the game. A boy
there in one of the shops will activate it for you. The mini-game requires 83
