Mining and ships spawning

I just started mining looking for platinum for engineers and so far it has been impossible for to do so.
every time I choose a random location that is not in the navigation tab to try to start mining there is like 3 or more ships already there always hostiles ships. The system where I had try are system with not population.
I don't know is this is how the game is but I sure that in the past time I have stop in random spots on rings I have always been alone.
Ps. this is a personal I idea I think we need sales board run by players like were miners can sale the goods for their any price they want.

Wherever you drop down you will always see some NPC spawn just after you. They may be friendly or maybe not. But just get into the habit of boosting away through the asteroid field as soon as you drop until the blips vanish, and you'll be good to go.

Hostile ships are a part of Power Play and have a rather high spawn rate if you're into it - everywhere inside the bubble.
Also, every time you change an instance there are random spawns be it a FSD jump, a SC to a station or even a SC into an uncatalogued part of an asteroid ring.
Mining in High security systems have a high chance to spawn other miner or security forces, while medium or low security systems have higher chances to spawn pirates.

The pirate spawn in totally remote areas is ridiculous. There is no problem when you first arrive at the ring, as you can plan to have nothing in your hold to attract pirates, so waiting for them to scan you and go away is just another of the many meaningless time sinks in the game. But if you have any valuable cargo, you will be attacked. This means that if your ship is a slow one, your system crashing while you are in the ring is a death sentence.

It basically means that you can no longer have a fully optimized-for-mining (i.e. defenceless) mining ship. If you're a miner, you now need to build a ship that can either fight, or run, as well as mine.

If you're going to build a combat miner, then you might as well mine in a high RES and gain the benefit of having the RES asteroid content buff. I'd probably even recommend this for the combat-oriented players who are just doing mining to unlock the Mining Queen engineer, as the mining should take less time in a high RES and the "boring bits" (mining) is regularly interspersed with NPC combat action.

For people who actually want to mine in peace without annoying NPC intervention at all, it can be done, but I'm afraid you'll have to go out about 1000 LY from Sol before you find this.

As for P2P trading, while it was in the original design discussions, that's now pretty much been nixed by FD, as any kind of official support for a P2P market opens the door for a link to the real-world economy ("I'll give you US$20 for 10 tonnes of painite"), with resultant pay-to-win and Chinese-gold-farmer problems. That's a Pandora's Box that FD want to keep nice and unopened. So I'm afraid the best you can do here is join a player group and arrange via the group's website to make your trades/swaps/giveaways.

Wanna mine? Go to Volciates, planet A12. Its high sec, everytime i drop a wing of 3 security ships drop with me. Never got into trouble there.

nowadays i mine in LFT 65, planet 4.. its pink gasgiant.
i think the yields are bigger and get more often painite.. only issue there is, is that a wing of 7 drops with me, from time to time..

Been mining today, the drop into a ring and boost until radar contacts are gone works great. Though getting interdicted for my cargo of limpets is getting a tad annoying

OK everyone thanks for all your comments I the type of player that does a little of everything but I more aiming in direction of exploring and mining has been one of the things I have done until now.
I have been on LTF 65 trying mining but npc but show, so I drop and just move away from the zone my drop zone I shouldn't get bother by npc\s.

I currently on LFT 65 is ther any platinun there or can someone tell me were i can find some .
other thing counting rings is from thin inside out.

Scripted spawning. Just go away as soon as you see bleeps on your radar. Once you have distanced them, you shouldn't have to worry anymore

I've mined several times and i've never encountered any NPCs when i go 50KM or more from the RES marker, there was once when some Cobra followed and i had to shoot him down but other than that it's been peaceful for me.

its RNG based, just keep firing prospectors till you find what you want.

Yes, the NPC spawning in random locations in rings is daft...
