Hello everybody

It's the first time I post one of my creations here. I've been working on it since a few weeks, and I'm reaching the end of the work !

I just wanted to share some pictures of the "Western Land" I was creating. In fact, my first idea was to creat a Mine train that I had in my mind since a long time (I first tried to creat it with Nolimits Roller Coaster ! ) And when I finished it, I decided to creat the "land" that would go with it...then... we all know Planet Coaster... after the first idea, comes another one...and we can't stop building (Rhaaa, such a pleasure ! )

So, the mine train is called "Mining & Co". Here are a few pictures of it :

Its funny... I just started building something similar... And therefore I can perfectly imagine how much effort it takes to build what you show us on your amazing pictures.... fantastic details and theming of the ride! Fantastic layout of the village surrounding the mine train coaster... very nice buildings with fantastic old west athmosphere! A lot of greets! corkscrewloop [happy]

Yes, in fact, it took a lot of time (too much !! [woah]) to put all the things together...but it's such a pleasure to finally be able to build almost what we want, mostly now that there are no more collision detection! Unfortunately, when I started this park a few weeks ago, collision detection was there...it would have been so much easier to build all these tunnels without it ! But I won't restart everything from the beginning ! [squeeeeee]

Tomorrow it's a special day in France, but I'll try to finish my park after voting !

I really like your overall style here. The architecture is very well-executed and fits the land perfectly.

Hello guys !

Here we are, gates are opened ! Mining & Co is ready to receive its first visitors !

Mining & Co is a full themed mine train roller coaster. As I said before, I first wanted to only creat the roller coaster...but I finally made a full "land" around it !

I had the idea of this track a long time ago. I first tried to creat it with Nolimits Roller Coaster...but it was so hard to creat every piece of scenery with Sketchup....then Planet Coaster arrived, and everything became so much easier ! The first idea I had was like this:

Iron bridges one over the other, thanks to the perspective and the point of view.

Then came the idea to creat a bridge to reach the highest point of the mountain :

And so begin the journey

Then I had the idea to add a second part on the "land"...an abandonned ghost town :

This mansion looks a little spooky at night....maybe it will be the place for a future dark ride (when we'll have doombuggies, hopefully !)

Really like this park, the thing that bothers me is the support made from brickwork holding up the mine train coaster chain lift. If would be better made from wood as I don't feel it fits in with your theming.

But that's me being picky. I otherwise love it.

It's absolutely mindblowing![woah] The layout, buildings and bridges look just so fantastic. Imagine that in real life, its almost like a frontierland in DL. Amazingly detailed and every piece made with total passion. Pure imagination of a western themed area like none I've seen till today in PC. Fantastic. Have you built all the models, tracks and buildings? If so, you have amazing park building skills! Why not continueing this with another park section, if your computer can handle it? A lot of greets corkscrewloop [happy]

I see what you mean, but my idea was really to make an iron bridge. I don't know if wood supports could carry it, and iron supports would have been too massive I think...so I made brick pillars.

Have you built all the models, tracks and buildings?

Yes I did...too many hours spent [squeeeeee] But there are so many beautifull things created by the whole community !

Why not continueing this with another park section, if your computer can handle it?

In fact, that's the plan ! I have planned many paths to connect with other sections of the future park...You're right, I hope my computer will handle it !

I've been waiting for this park to come out. I used the tegidcam and walked around the park and it's amazing. Everything is well placed and the coaster is awesome. Keep up the good work and I look forward to the next part of the park.

WOW, that's an impressive ride! I'd queue for that And all the scenery seen n the distance, too. Top marks there. My only concern is the prolonged slow-speed brake run that still isn't enough to avoid waiting before entering the station before the train in front leaves. That's going to kill the ride's stats. You can tweak a few things to change that, maybe.

this is a great looking park. very realistic and it all fits together nicely. Looks like a lot of time was put in placing all the wood trusses above and below the tracks. Love it.
