And its from the very last second the last chunk is released from the rock...
Cores will show globally on every platform as cracked.... laser mining is only for a single player for 3 hours ...
If you have not lasered mined in that exact section of that exact pristine ring there is no change to the rocks this allows players to repeat mapped mining runs every 3 hours when laser mining... if you have 6 maps and a FC you can run mapped laser minig 512 tons every 30 mins... as you land on the FC empty and then return to the next map...

Haz res laser mining 512 ton mappped cutter Runs in rings can be completed in 25 mins of in ring time....

Very informative. Thanks. I don't own a cutter and I can't get one in Colonia but I do have an anaconda. Mostly use a python for mining. I'm curious what you loadout is for laser mining.

320 ton Anaconda would be
Use An operations multi limpet controller size 3B has 4 limpets, not 3.
Grade 5 Weapon focused size 8 PD... This can run 5 Size 2 mining laser beams which combine with extra collectors... Python can only run 4 mining lasers...
Engineered mining lasers are available in bubble but not in the black so you can't use them...
Grade 5 Thrusters/Drive
Low emission power plant to keep heat down if you want... runs laser even longer for when 2 rocks with platinum are directly next to each other...
Size 1/2 Refinery the lowest bin count as you'll only mine for very few items with the rest set to ignore so you have 4 bins...
4A shield used for litho breaking and the random bounce of rocks...
3A prospector...
With the 5 lasers you can run a 256 build and run 13 collectors or 320 ton with 10 limpets collectors...

And remember Ring A for laser Platinum, NOT ever ring B ... laser mining Metallic rings are never ring B
