I've been mining for the past couple weeks, and I've done fairly well. I do run trading missions, along with mining, and that keeps things more interesting.
My biggest complaint with mining is the refinery bug that goes into an eternal loop. The only way I've found to stop this is to exit > save > reenter. But when you reenter, you have to set things up again, and you're not on the great rock that was producing 2 tons of Painite. I sure hope this is fixed soon.
