Mining - Kinetic or Blast resistant for Hull/Sheild Generator Mods ?

Was wondering which engineering mods to apply to my Cobra MkIV

With core mining what would be better Kinetic or Blast resistant mod to Armour and or sheilds to reduce the damage caused when being too close when the asteroid is cracked open. ?

Shields should be enough.. I'd go for max MJ / integrity, so hd everything. Don't forget to put 4 pips into SYS and your shields should withstand the shock wave. Or get enough distance to the roid before detonating it and don't get hit ;)

Thanks for responding Bortas, 3A shields are enough it's true, but I was considering going shieldless to get an extra 8 tonnes and really wanted to know what the damage type of the detonation is Explosive or Kinetic ( I don't see the distinction myself since an explosion is a kinetic event but hey this is ED)
