Now that the Specs for the Panther clipper MK2 are out. I am amused that i will have to use mostly pre-engineered C1 mining lasers due to the Power Distributor size and likely hardpoint placement. Its odd that a ship with the most hardpoints in the game is now going to be neutered for speed in the mining arena due to the choice of a C7 Distributor.
So how about Mining Laser Engineering. Reduced Distro draw, Longer ranges, Flow control. Just to name a few, Or even a CG that will reward C2 pre-engineered mining lasers. Just something that will make 3Mw/s per C2 laser either better or more worth it.
-For reference i frequently fly an Anaconda with 5 C2 mining lasers and 3 C1 modified mining lasers. And the C8 Distributor with WF/SC is Just enough to run that.
