mining lasers where art thou?

I have spent all afternoon looking for a mining laser better than a D2, I have tried all different kinds of systems.

Where on earth (tried there as well) can I get one??

D2 is the best there currently is.

Why do you need better? I can grind all the fragments of a rock and have them processed in 5 mins. Extra time wouldn't help unless I get attacked and that's usually too much time anyway.

One D2 laser is all I need. It chips the rocks more than fast enough. Why you would need more I don't know.

The only way to get bigger is to have a Bigger hard point to put it on. I don't think there is one bigger but it you got one for a Large hard point then it should in theory be a class 4+ laser. Shame it becomes pointless when mining as you don't need anything bigger, Unless they bring in cargo Tractor beams or Mining lasers that send the ore directly into your Refinery, now that would be cool.

2 things for my wish list, Tractor Beams and Mining lasers which automatically puts ore into hoppers.

I saw a youtube vid where the person said that to get better yields you needed a bigger laser, so I just assumed there was better out there.

Ive tried mining a few times and it seems I dont get much from each rock before it stops giving any more chunks.
