I've never had to use guns when mining. If the area gets too hot, I usually SC out of there to another, and come back later.

yea I moved a few times to unnamed systems and still got ran off. but I finally got 5 tons of silver and started to look were to sell it. after hunting the map for and hour I gave up looking. mined some got killed and gave up. SO SOD THAT.. as the brits would say. I hope with some time the devs invent i goggle of the universe .

I got an Adder now back to killing and exploring
