Mining with 2 players

Hi all

Please can somebody tell me if it is possible to Mine with one person blasting the asteroid and then another collecting the minerals? My brother and I were Wondering about this.

Do you get people flying around asteroid belt looking for miners to Blowup?

You get a lot of Pirates these days round the mining points. Some as big as... well Anaconda's.

I can't see a reason one cannot mine and the other collect. Items are not stolen till they are jettisoned from someones cargo hatch.

i thought if there grouped it would be stolen period...or is that broken as well?
