I know that we can't have tractor beams, but I would love a grappling hook. ^_^

I was thinking that it would be an interesting system to scan an asteroid and find - or cut - a place to dock to it with our landing jacks.

Then, we could let the mining lasers and cargo scoop work in conjunction, at the cost of the specialized gear to do so and at the risk of being immobile and shields off while docked for mining.
