Minor Faction War Mechanics?

Yesterday my Minor Faction has gone to War with a Faction from the Neighboring System.

Now a few Questions.

1.
How do I win this?
I took Massacre and other Missions and my Factions Influence is now on 20% vs them at 8%
Do I need to press them to 0?
Or is there a different thing I need to do?

2.
The other Faction has no Station in the System.
But it has several in other Systems.
Does my Faction get one of these if they win?

3.
My Faction offers Trade and Scan Missions as well.
Do these count for the War?

Greetz

Even the Massacre missions didn't count towards your victory. All they do is earn you creds, increase your rep, lower your factions chance of lockdown and increase the chance of lockdown for your opposition. They have zero effect on influence.

All that counts during a war or civil war is combat bonds, bounties and the influence from killing NPCs.

1. No and no.
2. No.
3. No.

Not very Helpful.
Especially because the First Question was not an Yes or no Thing...

5% wins a war.
Winner gets one of loser's assets. No assets? Nothing changes hands.

So I need to press them below 5% ?

Well they do have Assets but not in that System.
To begin with its a War. Not a Civil War.

So basicly I just go into CZ and kill as many Enemy NPCs as possible ?

Ok Game Answered the Questions itself.

Assets in other Systems apparently dont count. As none of the 4 Stations of the other Faction was taken over.
The Enemy Faction reached 3% and the War was over.

5% DIFFERENCE wins the war.
Only assets in that system can change hands.
War and Civil war have a minimum duration of 3 days. Because of the offset in the tick for influence vs tick for states, these things usually appear to take a day longer.

Provided you cash the bonds in, yes. If you forget to cash in the bonds, killing in a CZ won't affect anyone's influence.

The Enemy Faction reached 3% and the War was over.

A faction can go as low as 1.0%. It won't go any lower than that, but the other faction can still keep going up. But it only needs to be 3% for civil war and 5% difference for war at day 3 or later.
