Hi Lefty117,
I will take a look at Nanoman, as you have peeked my interest. I wish they had made Hudson more sympathetic

I wish Winter's players had not agreed a non-aggression pact with the Alliance power players, no Fed "politician" for me to follow - still models real life I suppose
How are you trying to flip the system, mission- trade, power play, killing civs/system authority or other state changer, or a combination of all?
Simon
We've tried everything. We used info posted on the wiki as a guide for what types of missions to run or avoid based on the current State. We started with Movement for Nanomam Future, which was at 44%, and we raised it up to 60% with civil war critical pending state, but then the next day it was back down to the 40s and the state was Outbreak. From there influence continued to drop no matter what we did (and we avoided Outbreak enhancing missions such as smuggling). Then we noted another Fed faction Nanomam Ltd was on the rise, we attempted to bolster that one but the same thing happened. In the last two weeks all three of the Fed factions have taken turns going up to about 60% and then mysteriously dropping. none of the factions ever reach Civil War state. Now, over the last week or so, the numbers take wild swings on a daily basis and we have basically given up on doing anything with it. No rhyme or reason to what is happening, and no feedback from FD.
my issues are these:
- There's no visibility or summary of overall influence activities, so we have no way to tell if we're doing something wrong, or if there's another contingent that is undermining our work.
- We see reports of similar wonky numbers at other systems, so it's unlikely that this is due to a concerted undermining effort
- No response at all from FD on this
- Why this system is Independent to begin with; or why didn't Hudson choose a Federation system as his HQ?
- If 3 of the 5 systems are Fed aligned, and together total about 80% of system influence, why is the system still controlled by a <10% dictatorship? It doesn't make sense logically speaking - you would expect the Fed factions would pool their resources and take over. Instead we seem to have to wait for one of the factions to hit 70% to trigger a civil war. Just doesn't make sense.
