While playing around the other day, it struck me that it would be nice to have that artificial horizon "alignment OK" symbology displayed when landing on pads. It would be handy for getting the pitch right when making an elegant touchdown, but also would just make the landing symbology consistent across the board.
I also noticed that although the ship-model on the scanner turns blue when aligned to land on a planet surface, it doesn't do so when aligned to land on a pad - instead the target-symbology on the pad turns blue, but doesn't guide you as to roll and pitch alignment. It would be nice to make that consistent as well, and have both the ship-model and the target-symbology turn blue when everything aligns.
