Minor Thargoid observation

So I've taken my Corvette out against the Thargs a few times, first to see how my shields held up, then on research limpet runs (still not sure what to do with them once they've extracted the data), and I've got one small thing of note: My canopy, power plant, data link scanner and cargo racks take no damage from thargoid weapons. None at all. To test it, I let the tharg wail on me for bit, until my health was down to 45% and I had extensive module damage, but then, those four modules were still at 100%. I tried with my Python and my Annie (the two ships I have out in the Pleiades) and had the same result.

So, that's it. not sure if this is a glitch or something intentional.

For now it's likely intentional since you have to hull tank them for the most part. That might change as more of the AEGIS equipment becomes available and FD can ramp up the difficulty.

Odd, bug maybe?

Isn't that data being collected as part of the new CG at Wolf 397? Or am I thinking of a suggestion by someone?.......... Nope, I was actually right! 2nd Aegis CG

For now it's likely intentional since you have to hull tank them for the most part. That might change as more of the AEGIS equipment becomes available and FD can ramp up the difficulty.

This. I suspect as more and more gear becomes available these thargoids become easier and easier. At the same time tougher and tougher thargoids and be introduced, so there is fun for all.
