Missed the letterbox......

I decided to try a rather rapid exit from a station yesterday in my Eagle, needless to say I made a right mess of it(keyboard and mouse) and clipped the inside edge of the letterbox which resulted in me bouncing around the exit for a couple of seconds before exploding in a shower of sparks

Well you live and learn I guess lol

Yeah been there done that a few times. Even clipped an NPC coming out of the slot, happy that I was in my Cobra. Good shields rendered the other guy space dust. Opps!

I've seen 2 NPC Sidewinders playing a playing a nose-to-nose pushing game - 1 trying to leave station, 1 trying to dock. They were stuck right at the entrance to the letterbox and I sat there about 10 to 15 seconds watching them before quickly thrusting to the side and going around them.

It was interesting to see both the shields light up at the point of contact, and each pushing the other but both going nowhere

In my lakon 9, going like 40 through the toaster, I just BARELY clipped the top, and went from full hull/shields to 46% instantly. Also, I think I've killed about 3 npcs at various times while going through it.. Haha.
