Ok so I do not have access to the beta and I'm very curious as to what they've done to the game. What all do we know about them and what are the big changes?

Not quite useful especially with the drive improvements for smaller ships allowing some ships to reach ludicrous speedand the AI running mechanic.

Hmm, looks like our missiles buff has had a slightly rocky start!
We're making a few changes that will drop into the Beta at some point that should increase their potency to where we were expecting it to be. There's also a bug that will be fixed sooner that is making blast radii lag, effectively offsetting from point of impact.
In addition, it's worth noting that seeker missiles will attempt to hit whatever you have *directly* targeted, which means that if you want to hit a particular hardpoint, target it.

At least the hull damage is upped by why are they slower?! We're in space for Pete's sake! That missile should be moving faster than your sidewinder.

4% hull damage against one of those paper couriers seems pretty bad to me.
You can spend all of your ammo and still don't get a single NPC kill.
