Missiles Glitching?

I'm not sure if this is a glitch, or I'm just doing something wrong. But I have a dumbfire missile battery, and occasionally it randomly stops working. I push the button to fire a missile and it makes a noise (but not quite the same noise as a regular missile firing, like it's muffled or something) the ammo count down by one, but nothing comes out. I'll go through a dozen or so missiles, and then all of a sudden it will start working again. It's the damnedest thing. I thought maybe it got damaged in battle but I look in my modules tab and it says 100%. Has anyone else experienced this?

Have you checked to make sure they weren't coming out behind you?

Hmmmmm.... I don't think I was flying backwards at the time, as I never fly backwards when I'm fighting. I may have been strafing one way or another tho. But I haven't checked behind me. I'll do that the next time it happens.

They are shooting behind you. Has nothing to do with how you are flying. After the first volley of missiles they shoot to the rear, you can see this pretty clearly on your radar when it happens. It has been reported here on the forums many times and has been ticketed, doesn't seem to carry a priority along with mission issues.
