Missing Audio Feature: "Select Audio OutPut Device"?

Hello,

Just wanted to suggest a simple feature, that would allow you to select which Audio Device your game is being outputted to.

You know, so you could have the game's audio projecting through your PC speakers, while you could have music/any other audio playing through your default audio device.

Otherwise. If anyone knows of any 3rd party programs that allow you to reassign audio outputs of programs, (that work well) those would be appreciated too!
(I have tried the programs Chevolume and Indievolume ; but they do not run well in windows 8 even when running in compatibility & admin modes.)

My one gripe with quite a few games.

Generally I play music / movies through the hifi... But games on the headset.
Sometimes game through speakers, voice chat on headset.

Having the ability to select the sound device (have 2 sound cards) would be excellent and would save changing the default sound device all the time.
