Jurassic World Evolution 2 has introduced many skins and variants for existing dinosaurs, however, there's still quite a few of them missing
Let's start with the designs from the official website
Back when "Jurassic World" was being released, there was a promotional website (currently rebranded to Jurassic World Rebirth website) that had some information about the park as well as pictures of dinosaurs, most of them were renders of dinosaurs that appeared in the movie, but some of them were arts showing unique designs for dinosaurs not present in the film
Those being:
Baryonyx, Parasaurolophus, Pachycephalosaurus and Microceratus
Later when the sequels were released, these designs were dropped and went unused in favor of completely different designs, but they are still a part of the Jurassic canon
It would be absolutely amazing to finally see those designs being used somewhere and I feel like adding them as skins or even as variants of the existing dinos would be the perfect solution (or the biggest missed opportunity)
Honestly, I'm a bit surprised that those designs are not in the game yet, as some other dinos that were from the website and didn't appeared in the movie have already been a part of Evolution since JWE1 and they got designs almost identical to those from the website
Those dinosaurs being:
Suchomimus, Metriacanthosaurus and Edmontosaurus
Those were the website designs
but actually, there is one more dinosaur (well, technically not a dinosaur but creature) variant, from the movies, that is not in the game yet and EVERYONE would love to have it in game
Of course, I'm talking about the amazing "The Lost World: Jurassic Park" Pteranodon design
Last but not least, there are two, official, canon designs... well, not from a movie but from a show
In Camp Cretaceous, most dinosaurs were quite literally unchanged, since they used CGI to bring them to life in the movies and Camp Cretaceous is a 3D animated show
But, there were two exceptions, Ceratosaurus and Spinosaurus, they got brand new, redesigned models, which in my opinion look really cool and DEFINITELY different enough to be variants
Every other creature (except for the Smilodon) and variant from Camp Cretaceous has already been added to the game, those are the ONLY variants missing
Frontier would not have to worry about designing anything because while adding every Camp Cretaceous dinosaur to the game they just used the already existing models for them, so in this case really all they would have to do is just swap the models and maybe tweak some animations a bit and it would be ready
and I know some people may say that CC models look worse than the models we have in game, or some people may not like them, but let me say it this way, if those models are added as variants, well, the existing ones will remain unchanged in the game and everyone will be happy
So, why not?
