Missing cargo?

During my Exploration I brought back 2 Orbs and 1 Tablet that I have been carrying around with me, after several missions, mining and ship swap outs all of the sudden they are no longer in my inventory?
Does this normally happen?
*And I had bounty s to cash in and they are also gone???

Now I just feel stupid, been so long since I lost a ship- I forgot that part.

Yup, you lose everything, you would be surprised how many cmdrs forget to sell their exploration data and get killed before handing it in.

Ya I forgot, I was keeping the orbs and tablet to do the blueprint stuff.
It had been so long ago that I lost a ship I didn't even think about it.

But I did sell everything else lol just not what I needed for the blueprint
