Missing journal logs

Hi,

A fellow commander installed ED Engineer, and this lead to learn that his PC hasn´t journal log files saved on it. He made a whole search for those files on PC explorer but nothing found (there isn´t a "saved games" folder). Any idea what's going on?

He plays on Steam.

No matter if Steam, Epic or default Launcher: They are always in

shell:SavedGames\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous

Just paste this in the address bar of the explorer to get to it.

Thx, but there is no saved games directory. Not even a single "journal*.*" file in any of his disks.

He just told me, he formated PC and he's installing all over again... another way to troubleshoot

I can't quite believe it. I play via EPIC and the journal files are here:
C:\Users\UserName\Saved Games\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous
But it doesn't matter now ...

If he formatted his disk, the journals a gone. They are only stored locally, not on the FDEV servers, so they cannot be downloaded.
