Horizons Missing out on horizons :( !

I am a new commander to elite horizons and I am astonished with the work put into this game right away ! I went out to buy a new copy of the legendary version of the game and was so disappointed when there was no horizon dlc info inside when I got it :( very pleased with the game but feel I’m loosing out not having horizons having payed for it.

Dangers of buying second hand?

Legendary Edition does seem to contain Horizons.

What does the Elite Dangerous: Legendary Edition on PS4™ come with?

If it was new I'd send a message to Frontier support. (open a ticket button at the bottom of the above link)

If it's 2nd hand, I dunno how that works, if you should get it or not.

It was definitely a new copy so I will try that thank you :) I wouldn’t expect you would receive any bonus content or dlc from buying a second hand copy that’s why I went for the new copy. Thank you again for your help though will definitely do this.

Are you absolutely sure you didn't get Horizons too? I (as another new player) probably couldn't identify dlc features if I started with it. I only know which ones are those for I started with the basic version, and some options were greyed out.

I'd start by checking character customization... umm, Holo-Me. Available from anywhere, needs Horizons to access.

On the PC, there is an option of playing the base game, or the base game + Horizons. Is there a similar choice on the PS4?

I've read elsewhere there is a code on the back of the pamphlet in the box which gives you access to Horizons, have you done that?

Again thanks for all your replies but going back to my original problem when I brought my new copy of the legendary edition of elite dangerous there was no piece of paper with the code, I am familiar with the dlc process as I have done it for assassins creed, the Witcher and many other games on PS4.

Check out this thread. You should have received 2 codes in the box, one for Horizons and one for 1,000 Frontier points. If they weren't in the box, definitely contact support and ask if they can add them to your account.

Is it possible that you actually have Horizons but are mistakenly launching the original Elite Dangerous from the Launcher menu? To play Horizons you need to select Elite Dangerous: Horizons from the menu on the game launcher before clicking the START button.

If this is not the case, contact FDev support. There is a link to FDev support at the top right corner of the launcher. They are usually very good at sorting these issues out.
