Missing Planets.

Just arrived in COL 359 Sector WQ-O B35-7.
Honk says it's a 9 Body System, Nav' System Tab says it's 1 - a single Class M Star.

Tried 3 times and still get same result.

If you honk a system that has already been visited by someone else, you'll see the bodies they've scanned but they'll be listed as "Unexplored" in your panel. On the other hand, if you visit a system that no other commander has scanned, you don't see anything - until you scan them. Use the FSS (or fly towards a highlighted body, the old way) to see all nine.

I guess you've been in the bubble all this time and it's only now that you've come across your first unexplored system. SCan it, get back to a station, sell the data, and you'll have your name on them!

The OP has just discovered what "real exploration" is like.

Congratulations! 👍

Now, once you've finished running the FSS on every body in the system, you can either dash back to the station and sell your data - especially since you've blabbed the system name on an open forum, some lurking troll might try to dash out and steal your data, just to spite you - or you can press onwards and outwards in your exploration, finding more and more systems like this one, and hope no-one else will steal your data for that specific system. But once you sell the data, you will see your CMDR name after "First Discovered By", every time you open that system map.

It doesn't sound likely to be a particularly valuable system (probably just the usual string of iceballs that you find in a typical M-class system), so it's probably safe.
