[Missing the party?] Anyway they could add a filter to the galaxy map for conflicts and CG?

I hate to rant but this one has been going since I started playing ED.

Galnet announcement are all and well, but they are few and not always up to date for conflicts.

I frequently flew 200Ly only to find the damn system was PA-CI-FI-ED. A sad sight after you travel without cargo in a combat ready ship.

There are sites who register conflict zones, but they have the same problem that Galnet has.

CZ should last a couple of month at minimum. When was the last armed conflict on earth that lasted only 3 hours/days?

As for CG, relying on a thread maintained by players on the forum...:(

Because I don't have the time and leisure to search the 40 billions star for a skirmish or something exciting to do, it is often "ah well. Back to trading, at least I will make some money".
It starts to feel like a chore. "Don't forget to earn some money and take out the trash".

I think this often materialize into "IAMBORED" post later in a CMDR career...

Casual cmdr will then quit to play something else for a while some never coming back I am afraid.
Hardcore cmdr start having dark thought like "I should ram that sidewinder or that fuel rat... that will makes me a prat, but at least it would be a laff".

So. I have a day off. Should I launch ED, or the Witcher... ?

Right now, I must admit, my ships attributes can't fight against Triss Merigold's... :D

If you think a system may be in conflict, look it up on the galaxy map, then go in to the system map. Select the stations in the system and it will tell you in the info panel if they are in a state of war. It will save you rushing about the galaxy if the war is already over.

You can check out our info: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=139749

We only report Alliance conflicts, but try to update on a daily basis.

:p Well, the thing is... why click. If the info is here, they could make a filter to mark the conflict and display it straight on the map.
Everything is there really. Just a couple hundred of code lines probably at most?

And you guys are doing a great job reporting conflict, I tip my hat to that. But I don't want to have to dig through google search results to find these pages. I just don't have the time for that :)
