Hardware & Technical Missing Yellow Square for lining up.

Hi guys, I've been playing ED for just over 2 weeks now and am really enjoying the experience. I recently purchased an X52 Pro HOTAS setup, followed all the checks and the kit seems to be working fine. However, the little square yellow dot used to line things up is missing. It's there when using keyboard and mouse, but not when using the X52 Pro ,the weapons targeting markers work fine though. So I'm really hoping that some kind sole can help. So that I can carry on playing the game I've stuck a tiny square piece of tape on my monitor, not ideal but at least I can still play.

The dot is only there when using a keyboard+mouse setup, this is on purpose.
But its not that hard the locate the dead center without any dot or other help.

OK Thanks for that, although I'd feel more safe with the thing. Ah well practice makes perfect
