newer is always better. New stuff drives neuro transmitter releases, which drives repeated behaviour.

on foot and ship crossover gameplay:

Unique mission givers that Cmdr learns about from bar tender. Has to go to settlement X in order to receive said mission. Mission details would vary. For example:

"My cargo ship was hijacked by pirates. They have apparently set up base at settlement Y. Retrieve cargo ship and keep whatever freight is left."

REWARD - unique freighter ship. fully engineered + skin BUT it is unalterable.

These unique missions would of course have to be rare and could incorporate:

  • trading gameplay loops (unique price opportunity on cargo dependent on random mission completion)
  • combat gameplay loops (CZ zones with reprisals - elite commandos sent after cmdr after repeated CZ spankings of certain faction, these could be both on foot or space ship based.)
  • bounty hunting (follow trail of wily space pirate, who is programmed to flee on encounter, again, combat / execution would be either on foot or ship based)


Love the game, not a fan of the grind so, rewards could also alter:

  • unique weapons: upgraded / engineered / skins
  • unique suits: upgraded / engineered / skins
  • unique ships: engineered / skins (unmodifiable)
  • unique ship modules: engineered

Finally:

UNIQUE STATIONS and interiors. PLEASE can we have a dodgy AF pirate station with graffiti and broken stuff and the option to draw weapons / melee attack. Cmdrs would luuuuuuuuurv the option to kick off in a station. Pirate stations give you the perfect excuse for true open on foot pvp.
