Mission Board Timer?

How does this work, exactly? It's supposed to be on a 10 minute refresh, right?

I waited 15 just to be sure, re-pulled up the Mission Board and it was the exact same. Logged out just in case - still the exact same.

What gives? Does it only REPLACE missions that you take (and therefore remove) from the board every 10 minutes? I was under the impression it would be a complete refresh.

Hi there,

Broadly speaking, new missions are added at 15 minute intervals.

Missions for a station are split between a rolling collection of 4 banks of missions.

Every 15 minutes a bank expires and a new bank is generated to take its place.

Thanks,
Dom

So no, not just the missions you take, and not all of them either. More like 25%, but then those get filtered depending on your circumstances I believe, so you may see less changing.

In my experience accepting a few missions that can be done fast revealed a few new ones, chained missions being a special case. But I know this won't be a useful suggestion in every system/state if the missions presented are exclusively of the kind you don't like.

I wonder if the missions have an individual timer, like the USSs do.

I’m wondering too... granted I did not check every single faction, so maybe there were some changes under other factions. But the one I checked was one for one identical to before.

If it’s only 25% or so of the entire BOARD at a station, rather than every faction, then poo on that.

Shrug. Not a big deal, just wanted to make sure I wasn’t crazy and see if anyone had pinned down how it behaves yet.
