On that topic, wasn't there a post somewhere in the bowels of this forum with the actual ports ED uses? I probably should mess around with the port forwarding when I want to play again.
 
If the majority of player's connection's are fine and your's not then you should probably start trouble shooting you're set up. If not then you can be pretty sure Frontier have decided to troll only you for fun.

check out you're system would be the first step. Port opening, internet set up etc. good luck.

ED uses ALL the ports.

Numbers go up, they go down, there seems to be no session limits. You can certainly fix the client to certain ports, but even so it will try all different ones. Just plug a hub in between your gaming PC and your router, and plug a sniffer into the hub.

You'll see all sorts of fun things :)

Crap, I will need to check into this then, because my ISP has a grudge against UDP :\ That's the reason why I had to give up on my plan to play Earth and Beyond. Their UDP port numbers were so low my router told me to      off when I tried to punch them through the firewall XD

Repped, that is the one I was looking for. Guess they finally moved it to tech support instead of a random thread here xD
